This website includes the following accessibility designs
  • Font Enlargement
Users can select the desired font size through the  tool located at the top right of the website. Users with mild visual impairments can use this feature to read the website content more easily.
  • Readability
The website content uses clear and simple language, combined with screen reader usage, allowing users to understand webpage content through sound.
  • Multi-platform Compatibility
Ensure the website is compatible across different browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and devices, allowing users to use assistive tools on various platforms to browse the site.
  • Error Identification
When users make an error, the website provides text prompts to indicate the issue, allowing screen reader users with visual impairments to understand and correct the error promptly.
  • Keyboard Compatibility
The website supports keyboard operations. Users can navigate through the site using the Tab key, which helps people with visual impairments or those who have difficulty using a mouse understand the website content.
When users operate using the keyboard, the webpage content is arranged in a logical order to ensure that it can be read by screen reader software.
 A “Skip” link is placed at the top of the page. After clicking it, users can go directly to the main content, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive content.
 The homepage's carousel content offers pause and toggle buttons, allowing users to easily pause the relevant slides.
  • Page Title
A simple and clear title is shown at the top of each web page, which helps users identify the page and supports browsing and reading when searching for webpages.
  • Images of Text
Where feasible, images on the page include alternative text so screen readers can read the image descriptions aloud, helping users with visual impairments understand the information conveyed by the images.

  • Geographic Information Application
In the mobile application "Macau GeoGuide" and the "Macau Online Map" webpage, a "Avoid steps" option is available in the walking route search function to cater to the needs of different members of society.
